I like this faire. It's got a little bit of
everything that makes a faire a good way to
spend a day. There is good food, a battle
reenactment (always interesting and
informative), excellent vendors and lots of
shows and dancing. Like any really good faire,
it has a lot of things going on all of the time:
street shows, fencing matches, archery contests
and dancers. Wherever I put my eyes there was
something sure to be happening.
This faire seems to have far more dancing
than most of the others. There were dozens of
belly dancers doing your standard Renaissance
era dancing through modern fusion as well as
Irish dancers doing their folk dances.

The battle recreation was excellent, I
especially enjoyed the fights between the
heavily armored knights on the ground before the
main battle began. I got a good idea of how
fighting in those days was quick, bloody and
chaotic.
I enjoyed the shows, especially the Bawdy
Juggler. His act is always fun and entertaining,
and even though I've seen him perform the same
show a dozen times, it remains fresh and vibrant
nonetheless.
Most of all, everyone was friendly and just
trying to make a good faire.
