It's
impossible to completely communicate how much I've
received from the good people at these faires and
shows. Of course there is entertainment, food,
learning, beautiful women and good clean fun. But
there is more, a certain sense of magic, of pride in
their creation, of the celebration of the joy and
happiness of just being alive. You can get as little
or as much as you want from a faire - the
participants are willing to give virtually anything
you desire.
I would like to big a big hearty thanks to
everyone at all of the faires for their kind words
and for posing for many of these pictures. It's the
people of the faire that make it fun and enjoyable.
I've made many friends at faire, and again I thank
you for the encouragement, the hugs from the ladies
;-), and most of all for the many years of
enjoyment.

I would like to recommend you check out the
Belles of Bedlam. They are a group of fun and
lovely wenches (and a few guys), playing at many of
the local faires in Southern California. They are,
in my mind, one of the most enjoyable acts in the
faire and I always make it a point to see their
show. They don't know it, but their humor, high
quality and kindness helped me through a rough time
after
my wife passed away in early 2005. |
